The short version of this whole policy.

This is the long-form Privacy Policy. The short version:

  • I collect only what you give me — name, email, phone, business name, current processor, statement file. Nothing else.
  • I don't sell your data, ever.
  • I don't share your data with anyone unless you ask me to (e.g., when introducing you to a specific processor for boarding).
  • Your statement file is purged 30 days after I deliver the analysis.
  • I use Google Analytics 4 to understand site traffic in aggregate. You can opt out via your browser settings.
  • The site uses GoHighLevel as the CRM and form/calendar platform. Their privacy policy applies to the data you submit through their forms.

If you want to see what data I have on you, ask. If you want me to delete it, ask. I'll do it within 30 days.

What I collect

When you fill out a form on merchamax.com, I collect: first name, last name, email address, phone number, business name, current processor, current POS or software (if you provide it), and the merchant statement file you upload. When you book a call, I additionally collect the date/time of your booking and any notes you add.

When you visit the site, my analytics platform (Google Analytics 4) collects standard web data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referral source, and time on site. This data is aggregated and not tied to your identity.

How I use what I collect

I use your contact info to respond to your inquiry, deliver the analysis, schedule the call, or follow up on a request you've made. I use statement files to perform the cost analysis you've asked for.

I do not use your data for marketing campaigns you didn't sign up for, automated drip emails, retargeting ads, or any third-party advertising.

How I store and secure your data

Contact data is stored in GoHighLevel (my CRM) and protected by their security infrastructure. Statement files are stored encrypted within GHL and purged 30 days after the analysis is delivered.

Who I share your data with

I don't sell your data to anyone, ever. I share data with third parties only in these specific cases:

  1. Service providers I use to deliver the service — GoHighLevel (CRM, forms, calendar), Google (Workspace email, Calendar, Drive). These platforms see your data because they host the systems I use to talk to you.
  2. A processor I'm helping you board with — only when you've explicitly asked me to introduce you to a specific processor for merchant account setup.
  3. Legal requirements — if compelled by lawful subpoena or court order. I'd notify you first if legally able.

Your rights

You can request:

  • A copy of all data I have on you (free, within 30 days)
  • Deletion of all data I have on you (free, within 30 days, except where I'm legally required to retain certain records)
  • Correction of inaccurate data
  • Removal from any communications
