TERMS OF SERVICE
PLAIN-ENGLISH SUMMARY
The short version:
MerchaMax is a payment processing consultancy and ISO based in St. George, Utah, owned and operated by Jeff Glines.
The website provides general educational content about payment processing, a free 24-hour cost analysis service, and a free 15-minute consultation by appointment.
When you upload a statement, I commit to delivering a personalized cost analysis within 24 business hours of receipt. The analysis is provided "as-is" based on the statement you upload. Recommendations are based on my professional judgment of payment industry best practices.
The analysis is not legal advice, tax advice, or compliance advice. For legal or tax questions arising from any recommendations, consult a licensed attorney or CPA.
There is no obligation to act on the analysis. There is no charge for the analysis. I will not enroll you in any paid service without your explicit written consent.
If you choose to engage MerchaMax for implementation work (new merchant account setup, dual pricing implementation, POS migration, etc.), we'll execute a separate written engagement letter that governs that specific work. Nothing on this website constitutes a contract for implementation services on its own.
The information on this site is provided for general educational purposes and is not a substitute for personalized professional advice. Outcomes vary by business; the savings examples cited are real but specific to the merchants involved. Your results will depend on your specific business and circumstances.
I make no guarantees about specific savings amounts for your business until I've reviewed your actual statement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MerchaMax's liability for any claim arising from your use of this website or its free services is limited to $0 (the amount you paid). For paid services, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
This limitation does not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Washington County, Utah.
I may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
